Milióny snů A MILLION DREAMS
Some dreams remain only dreams. Others become a journey.
Milióny snů is the Czech version of the well-known song A Million Dreams from the musical film The Greatest Showman. The song is about having the courage to imagine a world different from the one around us and taking the first step towards what we believe in.
Jdeme do finále WE'RE HEADING FOR THE FINALE
Music is at its most beautiful when we share it together.
Jdeme do finále was recorded at the Magnum Jazz Big Band’s 25th-anniversary concert at Prague’s Lucerna Music Bar. The song was part of a celebratory evening dedicated to music, friendship and the shared joy of live performance.
Kuplet radního THE COUNCILLOR'S COUPLET
Kuplet radního comes from the musical comedy Lysistrata, adapted for Semafor Theatre by Jiří Suchý from Aristophanes’ famous original. Wit, playful perspective and Semafor’s distinctive humour meet the music and lyrics of an artist who shaped Czech theatre and songwriting for decades.
This recording captures part of a performance of Lysistrata and recalls the unique atmosphere of the legendary Semafor Theatre, whose poetic style continues to inspire new generations of theatre-makers and musicians.
Noc dá mat NIGHT CHECKMATES
Sometimes the greatest games are not played on a chessboard, but between people.
Noc dá mat is an original single written specifically for Otto Weiss in a contemporary pop style. The song uses the imagery of chess as a metaphor for relationships, decisions and moves that can change the course of the entire game in a single moment.
The song was created as an original work, while its music video uses footage from the series Gossip Girl, whose atmosphere underscores a story full of tension, emotion and unexpected turns.
